Google's latest Android operating system, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, has already been rolled out for a handful of today's mobile devices . Now, Google Nexus smartphones and several others, such as the One A9 from HTC, are already running on the latest OS.Avid LG tech users will be delighted to know that its latest flagship smartphone has already gotten the update in some parts of the world. The update was first released as a soak test in Poland. Shortly after, it was released as a full update in South Korea, LG's home town. Now, the update is going to be rolled out across the pond.Android Headlines has confirmed that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will start to launch in LG G4 units in several regions in Europe. So far, it would appear that the update is most commonly being rolled out in Germany. However, the update has also reached some devices that are in Austria, Romania and Portugal. As it would turn out, the handset model of the LG G4 that is getting the rollout first is H815. Moreover, it has also been noted that unlocked variants of today's devices oftentimes get the update earlier than units that are carrier-locked. That said, unlocked H815 variants of the G4 in Spain, Germany, Turkey, Romania, Poland and Portugal have all received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Although carrier-locked units are not prioritized in Google's rollout of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, some carrier branded handsets have already gotten it in Europe. LG G4 users under Vodafone in Hungary, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the UK and Romania have already received the update.Google's latest OS is being rolled out to the LG G4 in two methods. There is the common method, which is OTA, or over the air, while users can also update their units with the use of LG Bridge, according to NDTV Gadgets. LG Bridge is a PC companion app that is purposely mean for use on various LG devices.
